First of all- Mac Twig (£15.50)
If it wasn't for my friend Kat, who bought me this lipstick for my birthday, I probably wouldn't have looked at it twice. It's a neutral mauve colour that could possibly be a nude on darker skin tones. I love it, very Kylie Jenner/ 90's lip. It's a satin finish so it's not completely matte but definitely not glossy making it reasonable long lasting. A more autumnal offering than my regular pink nude.
Next up- Nars Satin Lip Pencil in Hyde Park (£18)
Oh My God. I bloody love this lip pencil. Its a red berry shade, perfect for this time of year! I love the colour but, most of all, I love love love the formula and the application! Wowee, it just goes on so easily! I am most definitely not a make up artist so easy application is a must, this applies so easily to the lips and leaves a glossy finish. Due to the glossy finish, it doesn't last particularly well but it is so comfortable and is so beautiful on the lips. Love.
And last but not least, Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet in 08 Grand Cru (£8.99)
First of all the colour, a deep red with slight brown tones, definitely no purple in this. It's a very warm red colour with a very matte finish. It appears quite pinky at first but the more you layer, the better!Velvet is the perfect name for these bad boys, they are so soft and not at all drying on the lips and when you feel your lips what does it feel like? Yep, velvet. And, they last forever. If I go out wearing this I know I don't have to worry about reapplying and after going at it with make up remover, a stain is still their in the morning. And to me, that's a good thing! Next time you're browsing the boots aisle pick one of these up, the colour range is fantastic and they really are worth the hype. Keep in mind however, they do not swatch very well.

some great buys xx
